Sweifieh is the city's longstanding retail and dining heart, sitting just west of Abdoun. Al-Wakalat Street (the pedestrianized brand strip) anchors the neighborhood, surrounded by Sweifieh Village, mid-block apartment buildings, and a rotating cast of cafés that fill up well past midnight. The area is one of the easiest to reach by car or taxi from anywhere in west and central Amman, and it draws a wide crowd - families during the day, students and young professionals at night. Residential demand here favors apartments above retail floors and small block-corner villas for landlords seeking strong rental yields.

Sweifieh is bordered by Abdoun to the east and Tla' Al-Ali to the north. Multi-storey parking on Al-Wakalat Street and underground at Sweifieh Village. Friday evenings and Ramadan nights run busy - plan extra time.
