Abdoun sits on a plateau in west Amman and has been the city's diplomatic quarter for decades. Abdoun is also one of Amman's most desirable addresses for upscale apartments and family villas. Abdoun is bordered by Deir Ghbar to the south and Sweifieh to the west. Taxis are the easiest way in and out; on-street parking is plentiful outside school hours. Most amenities are within a short drive - Abdoun Mall, Taj Mall, and the Cozmo supermarket area are all minutes away.
